Our grants have been making a difference for community initiatives across five categories of eligibility; Connected Communities, Inspiring Bright Minds, Health and Wellbeing, A Healthy Planet, and Cultural Diversity.

As a recipient of a 2022 WesCEF Community Grant, the school has utilised the $2,000 worth of funding by building a greenhouse and establishing a number of garden beds around the school.

Simply put, by purchasing carbon offsets, you are balancing out your carbon footprint by purchasing the removal or reduction of carbon emissions at another location. This is one of the simplest ways we can reduce our impact on the environment.

The FOGO or food organics and gardening organics program is not available in Albany so Mount Lockyer Primary School is bringing lessons in food waste and sustainability back to the classroom with their 'Green Team'.
