What are my cooling off rights?

    Standard Form Contract

    If you are a residential or small business customer and you have signed up to a plan other than the Standard Form Contract you have a 10 business days cooling off period to consider your plan (from the day after you agree to the plan or if by phone from the date the plan terms and conditions are received).

    During the cooling off period, we will not supply you with gas, unless you request to be supplied during this period. If at your request, we do supply you with gas during the cooling-off period and you end the contract, we may charge you for any gas and associated services supplied to you during this period.

    Other plans

    Please note: If you are on a plan other than our Standard Form Contract, you can cancel your plan during the 10 business days cooling off period without penalty. If you’re outside your cooling off period, you’ll need to give us a minimum three (3) business days’ notice before you end your plan. No fees will apply.
