Account Establishment Fee
Kleenheat does not charge an Account Establishment Fee.

Account Administration Fee – Non-residential
Covers the overhead cost to the business of administering a customer’s account over its term.

Card Payment Fee
Covers the cost incurred by Kleenheat when taking payments by card. This fee will appear on
the next invoice after the bill is paid. This fee is not payable if you have already set up Direct Debit by
Credit Card payment.

Australia Post Payment Fee
Covers the cost incurred by Kleenheat when taking payments via Australia Post. This fee will appear on
the next invoice after the bill is paid.

Communications Link Installation Fee
Recovers the fee charged by the network operator to install and activate a communications link that is able to support remote communication between the meter and the network operator’s metering systems, at the request of the customer.
Note: if the meter cannot accommodate a communications link, a meter exchange must also be performed (at the customer’s expense).

Communications Link Deactivation Fee
Recovers the fee charged by the network operator to deactivate a communications link at the request of the customer, where possible.

Meter Testing Fee (Laboratory)
Recovers the fee charged by the network operator to attend a property to remove a meter and test it in a laboratory at the request of customer. This fee is refundable to the customer if the meter is found to be faulty.
