Our team on the road

Tom Branse, Regional WA Business Representative, is just one of the Kleenheat LPG team dedicated to providing the best possible service for the community in which he lives and works.

Tom is based in Fremantle, but is planning a move north of the river into his newly built home.

Catering to our Mid West and Wheatbelt customers

Tom is a Business Representative in the LPG Sales team, and manages Kleenheat’s small and medium-sized businesses in the Midwest and northern Wheatbelt.

Tom grew up in Germany and moved to Australia in 2011. While initially basing himself in Melbourne, he now calls WA home. While the move to WA required some adjustments, like getting used to the length of Perth and the distance between windsurfing beaches south of the river, and north of the river, the climate and active lifestyle of Perth won Tom over ultimately and he has no plans to move elsewhere, anytime soon.

“Over time I have come to love it here and I know that I want my kids to grow up in WA.”

Tom’s role involves a lot of driving. While based in Perth, he is often on the road visiting customers around the Central and Northern Wheatbelt and up into the Mid West, where some of his favourite WA locations are including Kalbarri and Shark Bay.

How do our regional teams spend their time, when not on the clock?

When he’s not on the road he enjoys the flexibility and work-life balance that comes with the role.

With WA offering plenty of open roads and backyard to explore, it’s fortunate that Tom is most happiest when he’s outdoors. WA’s reliable summer wind keeps him active with kiteboarding and if there’s no wind, then wakeboarding, or walking his dog keeps him busy.

Tom’s keen to upskill in fishing, which he hasn’t found much luck with as yet.

I recently tried myself at fishing but I don’t seem to have too much luck so any tips would be appreciated.”

What can we learn about regional gas customers?

A big part of Tom’s customer base are accommodation businesses such as hotels and caravan parks that use LPG for hot water. He also manages hospitality businesses, who use the gas for their commercial kitchens.

Tom also works closely with Kleenheat Dealers like Neil MacDonald from the Vasse General Store and Rob Fryer in Harvey. Our dealers sell 45kg gas cylinders to our residential customers in regional WA.

Tom services clients to the standards they expect from Kleenheat across the area stretching from Mundaring to Merredin in the east, Bullsbrook to Meekatharra to the north and Guilderton to Shark Bay along the coast.
