These grants will help keep you go-getters doing what you do best: building stronger, healthier and happier places to live.

*Grants are not available for individuals, start-ups or long-term initiatives.

Our grants are for community groups, clubs, not-for-profit charities or organisation in regional Western Australia and the Northern Territory who could use $1,000 cash support right now.

There are five grant categories and you can submit an application for as many that apply to your group.
Each month, we’ll open a new category for submissions, so check them out for dates and times.
Each category has eight $1,000 grants up for grabs - that’s a total of 40 grants until 30 June 2021.
You can apply for our grants right here on our website. We’ll guide you on the details to include, and remember: the more info you give us, the stronger your application.
Kleenheat’s Community Grants selection panel features local staff from our Perth head office and regional branches. They’ll assess all applications and pick eight recipients for each category.
We’ll get in touch with successful applicants to let them know some extra funds are coming their way.
If you’re one of them, we’ll arrange some simple paperwork for you to sign and confirm some extra details to get you on your way.
Employees of Kleenheat and any agencies associated with this Program and their immediate family are not eligible to submit an application for Kleenheat Community Grants. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child, parent, step-parent, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister. Kleenheat reserves the right to refuse any Application due to a conflict of interest which is determinable by Kleenheat at its absolute discretion.
If applicable, in your application, please provide an overview of how your organisation is adhering to your local government COVID-19 restrictions. If you are holding an event or gathering, please advise any social distancing practices or policies you have implemented to maintain government requirements.
Unfortunately, no. In fairness to all applicants and to ensure we can keep on track with our selection process, we are unable to offer extensions.
You will receive an email notification with the outcome of your application. Unfortunately we are unable to provide individual feedback.
Yes. After starting your online application, press ‘save’ and a link will be provided on screen. You can then copy this link and complete your application at a later date. Note, applications must be submitted before the closing date.
Once each grant category is closed, the Kleenheat Grants Committee will review and assess all applications. Successful applicants will be notified via email and phone within 2 weeks of the category closing date. Unsuccessful applicants will be notified via email within one month after the closing date.

For now, Kleenheat Community Grants is only open to organisations and groups based in regional Western Australia and the Northern Territory. While our grants program aims to enrich communities in these areas, Kleenheat is also proud to support some of Perth’s favourite community events including Fringe WORLD, Telethon Community Cinemas and the Good Food & Wine Show
