Types of warranties
Here’s a quick overview of the three types of warranties included with every Kleenheat Spark system:
Installation warranty
An installation warranty ensures you’re protected against any issues that may arise from how your system was put together, including roof mounting, wiring, and overall workmanship.
All our systems include a 5-year installation warranty, so you can rest easy knowing your roof and electrical work are protected. If anything goes wrong due to installation, your installer will return to fix it.
Product warranty
This protects you against defects in the actual components of your system, like solar panels, inverters, and batteries. If a component stops working under normal use, the manufacturer will repair, replace, or provide a refund in line with their terms.
All our solar panels come with 25 or 30-year warranties, while our batteries and inverters all come with 10-year product warranties.
Performance warranty
A performance warranty guarantees the long-term performance of your solar panels. Solar panels degrade over time, producing slightly less energy each year after they are installed. A performance warranty guarantees your solar panels will continue to produce a certain percentage of their original energy output over time.
All the solar panels used in Kleenheat Spark packages come with a 30-year performance warranty.

When you request a quote for your preferred solar package, we’ll email you a quote that clearly outlines the length and type of all warranties that are included in the package. After installation, you’ll also receive warranty documentation - so you’ll always have the information you need, when you need it.
