Staff Profile: Nicholas Teh, Kiosk Sales Consultant

Not one to knock back a challenge, Nicholas is a star employee with infectious enthusiasm and positivity. He takes pride in his unique ability to provide service with a smile, but without the unnecessary sales push so many of us detest. For Nicholas, selling isn’t a means to an end, but rather looks at his role as an opportunity to inform people about choice, price, quality and customer service.

How long have you been working at Kleenheat and where are you based?

I’ve been with Kleenheat for about 5 months and am usually working at the Garden City kiosk in Booragoon. Other times I can also be found at Cockburn Central and Belmont Forum Shopping Centre.

What do you do for Kleenheat?

I’m really passionate about my role as a Kiosk Sales Consultant because essentially, I’m on the front line as a brand ambassador for Kleenheat. It’s a key role which sees me providing the best customer service possible. I also have to provide important information and inform people on their right to choose their gas provider, and with a product that’s cheaper but doesn’t compromise on quality or customer benefits.

What’s involved in a typical work day for you?

I have to keep up to speed with the latest promotion and business updates so that I can create strategies accordingly. I’m quite positive by nature, so it’s vital to me that my team feels comfortable, strong and happy as one so we’re able to face any challenges together.

What’s the best part about working for Kleenheat?

I like the fact that Kleenheat cares about the career development of their employees and recognises their achievements. I get to work with people who share the same values as me, like openness and integrity.

What are some of your interests outside of the business?

I’ve got a background in chemical engineering so I’m really interested in innovation and technology particularly in the energy and resources sector.
