Channel Sales Representative
What’s involved in a typical work day for you?
Managing my team of over 50 kiosk staff means that every day is different but generally entails sales training, managing shifts and championing Kleenheat programs and initiatives. That in itself can be pretty time consuming! There’s also general stock management, delivering on promotions & marketing materials for the kiosk and rostering.
What’s the best part about working for Kleenheat?
Everyone is organised and knows what they’re doing which makes it a lot easier to be productive. My manager, Ben Meakins, is really supportive and gives me the autonomy to do my job while always being available to answer questions and guidance. The regular morning teas help too!
What are some of your interests outside of the business?
I’m a person who loves to be busy and I hate going home to just sit in front of the TV. Last year I volunteered for TEDxPerth as Media Producer, and this year I am working on a video project for the City of Perth’s new State Library. They’re small projects with the opportunity to be creative and do something positive. I also love to cook, go record hunting and since this is the first time I’ve ever lived near the beach, I try to get there every chance I get.
What are some of the perks of your job?
The biggest perk of my job is being able to develop my leadership abilities. I also love learning about the many different aspects of Wesfarmers because it is such an iconic Australian owned business.
