Local talent blooms at the Perth Garden Festival 2019

As presenting partner for WA’s biggest garden and outdoor living event, last week we joined thousands of green thumbs for gardening and outdoor living inspiration at the 2019 Perth Garden Festival at McCallum Park in Victoria Park.

To celebrate our support for the festival, Kleenheat was excited to once again to present an exclusive 50% off tickets offer for our customers. The autumn sun greeted festival goers on day one of the event and it was great to see many of you enjoying a day out exploring the show gardens, plants, gardening equipment and so much more!

The Kleenheat Kitchen returned once again with local chefs Brendan Pang (MasterChef 2018), Melissa Palinkas (Young George), Vince Garreffa (Mondo Butchers), Guy Jeffreys (Millbrook Winery) and Peter Manifis (Buy West Eat Best ambassador).

Each chef brought their own flare and flavour to the kitchen, dishing out cooking tips in spades while preparing delicious samples for the audiences to enjoy.

Joining them were gardening experts Deryn Thorpe and Steve Wood from the All The Dirt podcast who were on hand with advice for growing fresh produce in your own backyard.

Across the sessions, we also had special VIPs join us at the Kleenheat Chef’s table where they were able to see the action up close and dine on the dishes whipped up by our chefs.

To help budding gardeners along, audiences also walked away with a handy autumn planting guide put together in collaboration with All The Dirt and a recipe guide so they could have a go at recreating the amazing dishes.

Along with the Kleenheat Kitchen, our friendly kiosk team was on hand to chat with festival goers about enjoying better value energy with WA’s local provider and enter them into the competition to win the ultimate family barbecue pack.
