Fast Eddys Morley: a local stayer in the restaurant race

Western Australia’s restaurant scene is a mouth-watering melting pot of fresh flavours and funky locations, with new eateries popping up all time.

In an increasingly competitive landscape, restaurants are getting more creative with their interiors or pre-empting food trends to stay ahead of the curve and ensure their success isn’t just a flash in the pan.

In the hustle and bustle of the dining game, it’s nice to know there are also the stayers: restaurants that stand the test of time by remaining true to their roots and offering honest, no-nonsense eating experiences.Interiors of Fast Eddys Morley

Fast Eddys is a name familiar with generations of Western Australians with king-size breakfast hungers, late night burger cravings, or anything in between.

The independently owned and operated restaurants have become a family favourite since first arriving on the WA restaurant scene in 1978, focusing on local produce and friendly service set among eye-catching memorabilia from decades past.

In 1999, Fast Eddys Morley opened its doors across two levels at the Galleria Shopping Centre and quickly became a local favourite by catering to all types of hungry with its massive all-day menu covering all angles.

Morning kick-start? Sure thing. Lunchtime grazing? Absolutely. Late night feast? Step right up!

While the all-day breakfast, seafood or grill selections remain popular, it’s often hard to look past Fast Eddys famous burgers – headlined by the Fast Eddys Executive Dinner (FEED) burger ready and waiting for a classic sorry-not-sorry experience.

Weekly, fortnightly and monthly standing bookings remain in place for community groups, feeding the Morley location’s reputation as the ideal setting for group diners. The private upstairs area is also perfect for birthday celebrations, corporate functions and other special occasions.

For the occasions when your hunger knows no time zone, Fast Eddys Morley serves its all-day menu from early mornings to late nights every day of the week.

Sure, WA diners are spoilt for choice with trendy new restaurants booking up fast – but sometimes we’re just chasing a hearty, honest meal served with a smile.

That’s when it’s nice to look local and get behind a proven stayer.
