Karma Resorts Rottnest Channel Swim


February 27

Highly regarded worldwide and one of Western Australia’s iconic events, the Karma Resorts Rottnest Channel Swim is a 19.7km open water swim from Cottesloe Beach to Rottnest Island. Whether competing as a solo, duo or team, the Karma Resorts Rottnest Channel Swim is a ‘team’ event with all swimmers surrounded by a support network of paddlers, boat skippers and crew. The event, managed by the Rottnest Channel Swim Association, is held in February of each year and is Rottnest Island’s biggest day.


Nannup Music Festival


March 4 – 7

Held over the WA Labour day long weekend along the Blackwood River, the Nannup Music Festival will feature local musicians across 10 stages including Andrew Winton, Joni in the Moon, Kankawa Nagarra, Katie J White, Mathas, Ralway Bell, Teischa, The Rosemary Beads, Toby, Tom Fisher & the Layabouts, and more. Channel Seven Mandurah Crab Fest


March 19 – 20

Salivate over Mandurah’s best seafood dishes featuring crab at the Mandurah Crab Fest where over 130,000 locals will pack the coastal town. Enjoy cooking demonstrations by contestants from Channel Seven’s My Kitchen Rules series, live music performances, a variety of market stalls and then end the evening with fireworks from Mandurah’s foreshore. This year’s food events will also include a long table lunch, wine and cheese tastings, a progressive dinner cruise and high tea under the Mandurah’s iconic Moreton Bay Fig tree.


IGA Great Southern Food and Wine Festival


March 17 – April 3

The IGA Great Southern Food and Wine Festival is one of the best gastronomic experiences on offer in Western Australia. It’s held over 18 days with over 50 events in various locations in the great southern region of WA including Albany, Denmark, Mount Barker, Porongurup, Onegerup and Katanning. Focusing on the rich and diverse produce each region brings to the state, the festival is now in its 12th year and features everything from farmers markets, pop up dinners, guest chef cooking demonstrations, degustation dinners, beach BBQs and picnics.
