Located in what used to be the Duckstein Brewery, Black Brewing Co. is the distilling arm of Samson and Bowen, the latter himself an internationally renowned, award-winning local wine maker. The craft brewery features a cellar door and a restaurant with estate water views and a kids playground. There are plans to produce a range of beer with other brewers around the country with the end goal, as with the rest of their beers, to always reflect the south west region.

New to Busselton’s dining scene is modern Italian restaurant, IL Primo. It’s run by an Italian husband and wife duo who pride themselves on their unique menu offering of traditional Italian recipes with a twist. If you can’t resist beautiful, freshly-baked traditional wood-fired bread, then check out Yallingup Woodfired Bakery’s new store in Margaret River. Certified biodynamic, their bread is locally grown biodynamic grain stoneground to the finest flour, gently kneaded in a slow-moving dough mixer and carefully fermented over many hours.
