Join us for Christmas carols in support of Variety WA

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas and it’ll also sound that way when Carols by Candlelight for Variety returns to the Perth foreshore on Sunday 18 December.

Kleenheat’s is proud to be on board as sponsor for year’s Christmas carol spectacular, helping deliver some early festive cheer in support of Variety – the Children’s Charity of WA.

Now in its 72nd year, Carols by Candlelight for Variety returns to Langley Park – where the city meets the Swan River – for a night of free family fun and song.

Variety – the Children’s Charity is all about supporting WA kids who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs – empowering them to live, laugh and learn. All net proceeds from Carols by Candlelight for Variety will fund vital equipment, programs and experiences to help children overcome obstacles to live life to the fullest.

Join us for an afternoon of entertainment
We’ll be manning our big blue Kleenheat tent from 1:00pm, so swing by and say hello before settling in and enjoying an exciting afternoon of show rides, face painting, food stalls and pre-carols family entertainment including:

  • Wasamba – Freo’s Carnival Drummers
  • The Mighty Marvel Essence of Christmas Show (followed by autographs and photos with Spiderman, Ironman and Mrs Claus)

Make sure you also enter our Christmas colouring-in competition during the afternoon for your chance to win a gourmet food hamper!

Once the sun goes down, have those vocal chords ready for an evening of candle-lit carolling, hosted by Channel Nine’s Louise Momber and Michael Thompson and featuring special guest performances from:

  • Anthony Callea
  • Chris and Courtney Murphy
  • Robbie Anderson (The Voice Kids)
  • Variety Youth Choir
  • A host of other WA talent.

All eyes will be on the skies for a fireworks display to finish, but we’ll also have our eyes peeled for a glimpse of the man in the big red suit!

Head to the Carols by Candlelight for Variety website for more information on what’s planned this year or to make a donation to a wonderful cause.
