Phone scam alert

We’ve heard phone scammers may be targeting some customers claiming to be Kleenheat representatives and asking to discuss overdue debts or applying discounts on our customers’ behalf.

If you’re ever unsure or suspicious about communication you’ve received from Kleenheat, simply give us a call on 13 21 80 to make sure it’s the real deal.

Remember, Kleenheat will always perform an identification check by asking you three security questions before proceeding with any conversation.

    I have a quick question I hope you can help me with. I shifted from Alinta when it was sold to a Chinese conglomerate to you as you are a WA firm. I get several phone calls telling me to switch to other suppliers and they say all gas comes from one source and is sold to Alinta, Kleenheat etc… I am not sure this is true. Can you shed any light on this matter please. I have no plans to change suppliers again unless Wesfarmers is sold to an overseas company.

While it’s true we all use the same pipes when servicing natural gas customers, the gas comes from different sources. When I received the first bill it was really low but obviously with the second bill you just added the $50.00 that u took off from the first bill right . I had recommended u to lots of my friends telling them how cheap u are . I know you probably wont put my comment on your page for everyone to see but Im out of work & shouldn”t we get some sort of discount for that . I have a friend down the road that has exactly same gas unit as mine & because he is retired &uses his hot water system more often than mine & I don”t he receives a bill a third to mine . What is going on??????

      Hi Elizabeth, sorry to hear this. Under the Monthly Smart Saver and Monthly Energiser plans, you pay monthly instalments rather than quarterly bills. So you pay smaller amounts more frequently, helping avoid bill shock in winter. You will still receive a bill to show how your instalments are tracking compared to your actual gas costs. We recalculate your instalments every three months when your meter is read, and any changes to the instalment amount will be shown on your bill. If you think you use more or less gas per month than your instalment suggests or are unsure about the billing process, please give us a call on 13 21 80 and we’ll look into what we can do to assist you.
