We’re gearing up for an exciting season of scoring goals in partnership with Netball WA!
As major partner of the Green Shirt Program and the Western Australian Netball League (WANL) umpires, we’re proud to be supporting grassroots netball through programs that provide the opportunity to nurture and develop new umpires.
Alongside developing WA’s next generation of umpires in the sport, we’re thrilled to support the most popular event on the Netball WA calendar: the Smarter Than Smoking Association Championships.
Kleenheat General Manager, Mark Gadsby said our long history supporting the local sporting community meant partnering with Netball WA was a natural fit.
“This partnership is an exciting opportunity to get involved with the community while supporting a worthy program” he said.
“We’re proud to support young people in the Green Shirt Program, not only to develop them as future umpires, but help build confidence in other areas of life.”
Netball WA General Manager of Community Liz Booth said the new partnership would have a significant impact on an essential area of the sport.
“Without umpires there would be no game, so it’s wonderful to see a local organisation like Kleenheat invest in an area that’s critical to our sport,” Booth said.
“Western Australia has many outstanding umpires at all levels of the game and we believe this partnership will help us continue to grow our umpiring participation, particularly at the grassroots level.”
“Thanks to Kleenheat for their support of netball in WA; we look forward to growing this relationship into the future.”
