Kleenheat Gas partnership with The Salvation Army
Kleenheat Gas has proudly partnered with The Salvation Army to develop a new National Regional Care Services program around Australia. The program was launched nationwide on the 16th of October, 2009.
The Services provide operational funding and donations to a different community or cause in regional Australia each month, supporting those in need.
All Kleenheat Gas employees are involved in the Regional Care Services program, having the opportunity to nominate where they believe each month’s funding should be directed, volunteering when required, encouraging others to get involved and contributing their own time. For example, volunteers from Kleenheat Gas assisted with the construction of permaculture gardens in the Kinglake Village, Victoria, which houses approximately 50 residents whose homes were destroyed in the February bushfires. A BBQ was also donated to the Village.

Structure Sponsorship Program
Kleenheat Gas provides support to a diverse range of organisations and community groups through a structured sponsorship program.
Kleenheat is an active supporter of the Community of the Year Award in regional Victoria. The main objective of this Award is to recognise a specific community project, organisation or local government initiative. The Award aims to encourage greater individual, organisational and community involvement in these regional towns.
Smaller sponsorships at a local level are also an important part of Kleenheat's commitment to communities around the nation.
Regional Achievement & Community Awards
The Regional Achievement & Community Awards for Queensland are about recognising rural and regional achievers in your community.
There can never be enough encouragement and support for those working in rural and regional areas. Awards such as these create an opportunity to say thank you to businesses, community groups and individuals who work tirelessly in developing their chosen fields of endevours.
