2010 is scheduled to be a big year for Kleenheat Gas in achieving its sustainability priorities.

2010 Priorities

  1. To implement its newly redeveloped OHS management system
  2. Improve OHS and environmental risk management
  3. Provide development opportunities for our people
  4. Ensure Kleenheat Gas conducts its business activities in accordance with all relevant legal and regulatory obligations
  5. Positively contribute to and engage with the communities in which we operate
  6. Improve data management required for legislative reporting

2009 Priorities Outcomes

  • To improve our safety performance Achieved LTIFR reduced to 2.5
  • To improve our Environmental Management System Achieved Management Review was conducted and several new practical procedures were developed
  • Continue to develop and integrate a Compliance Programme aligned to the principles of Australian Standard AS3806 - Compliance Programmes. Achieved Procedures and Policies were developed and implemented. Employees received training on the Trade Practices Act through seminars and online assessments
  • To receive no regulatory infringements Achieved
  • To provide employees the opportunity to improve their health Achieved The JumpStart Health and Wellbeing Program continued this year.
