Kleenheat's liquefied natural gas (LNG) operations include an LNG plant in Kwinana, Western Australia, and other infrastructure to ensure convenient access of LNG to the heavy-duty vehicle industry. Kleeheat is a major distributor of gaseous fuels in Australia and has been operating for over 50 years.
Kleenheat operates a number of its own 16-22 tonne GVM Iveco trucks with Cummins dedicated LNG engines. Other customers include a refrigerated transport company operating LNG-powered B doubles and a road train.
The C112 Freightliner (pictured here) travelled 214,000 kilometres over the first 12 months of operation and saved in excess of 55 tonnes of CO2e greenhouse gas emissions during this time.
