Community
Kleenheat provides support to a diverse range of organisations and community groups through a structured sponsorship program.
One of Kleenheat's major sponsorships is of the Clontarf Football Academy in Western Australia. The Academy was established in 2000 with 25 aboriginal students and a vision to assist young aboriginal men to develop life skills and self esteem through Clontarf’s Australian rules football program. Kleenheat continues to provide financial support for regional football tours, facility upgrades, training equipment and uniforms.
Kleenheat is also an active supporter of the Community of the Year Award in regional Victoria and Western Australia. The main objective of this award is to recognise a specific community project, organisation or local government initiative. The Award aims to encourage greater individual, organisational and community involvement in these regional towns.
Smaller sponsorships at a local level are also an important part of Kleenheat's commitment to communities around the nation. Recently, Kleenheat became involved with the Albany Sea Rescue Squad (ASRS) in Western Australia, providing much needed safety equipment and supplying LPG appliances for the rescue squad base.
